Association de Chado Urasenke Tankokai de Québec will be hosting the tea ceremony!
You know, sometimes a festival can be a bit hectic, so how about a quick break from it? Its roots deep within Japanese culture, tea has developped, over the centuries, its own customs and traditions. The tea ceremony, through which they take shape, will allow you to escape the craze of the con and live a peaceful and enlightening experience.
You may find the Association de Chado Urasenke Tankokai de Québec’s bio in the Guests section.

While we’re on the topic of video game scores, allow yourself to be transported to these beloved virtual worlds with the portable branch of L’Orchestre de Jeux Vidéo. Registration form for the masquerade!
The rules and registration form for the masquerade are now available, so you can print the registration form and fill it out before the festival! That being said, just filling it does not guarantee you an entry into the masquerade; you must present yourself at registration, starting at 6pm on Friday or 9am on Saturday, and hand in your form there. Blank forms will also be available on site if, for one reason or another, you can’t fill it ahead of time.
No forms sent to the management, electronically or not, will be accepted.
Registrations are limited to 20 teams per registration session, for a total of 40 entries, no exceptions.

Reminder for the flea market!
You were looking through your stuff for that old Dragon Ball manga collection of yours when you stumbled upon your Sailor Moon one instead and, reliving your childhood memories, you completely forgot about the flea market? Fear not, we’re here to remind you!
Here’s what you need to know about the flea market:
- You deposit the items you wish to sell at the market’s counter while the market is open during the festival, and specify the price at which you wish to sell them
- We sell them for you
- You come get your money and unsold items later during the festival, again while the market is open
- We take a 20% cut on the specified price on sold items; unsold items are given back to you free of charge
- You’re thinking of selling a lot of stuff? Fill out this document and bring it with you when depositing your items to accelerate things!
You have nothing to lose by trying to sell your geek and japanese items, and it may even allow you to get that beautiful print your eye has been glued to in the dealers room!
