The form for the Virtual Dealers Room is now available!
Artists and merchants, the time has finally come: the form for the Dealers Room is on our website! But, before you head there, here are a few tidbits of info we think are important considering the different format:
- “Spaces” in the Virtual Dealers Room are free
- Those same “spaces” are also unlimited (well, within the limits of what’s humanly possible)
- However, due to this unlimited nature, we will only accept submissions from artists and merchants in the province of Québec; you know, to at least restrict the scope somewhat
- The Virtual Dealers Room will be public and freely accessible for all to visit on our website
Now that you’ve read all that, we no longer have any reason to stop you from filling the form.
In case you’re curious about what this “Virtual Dealers Room” may end up looking like, feel free to take a look at last year’s.
Lastly, we want to bring a bit of attention to another alternative for buying and selling geek and otaku goods- this fantastic Facebook group (not ours).
See you there!
The drawing contest for the festival poster is on!
An online event may be limited to the virtual, but art is universal! Okay, that rhyme was pretty bad, but the point is that, despite being online, Nadeshicon 2021 needs your skills. However, due to the nature of the event this year, we are unable to offer physical tables in our Dealers Room (more on that soon!), so the prizes are as follows:
- 1st place – Two hundred canadian dollars ($200)
- 2nd place – One hundred canadian dollars ($100)
This year’s theme is spring, often used as a synonym for various ideas and ripe with symbology. Let your imagination guide your hand and lead you to fertile… canvases? Poetry might not be our strong suit.
Head over to the contest’s page for the full details, including the criteria and terms of the contest. The deadline is February 10, inclusive!
