Nadeshicon Idol
Nadeshicon Idol is a singing competition. Participants present a Japanese song of their choice in front of a jury to win the competition.

Rules
- The participant has to sing alone; groups and group presentations are forbidden.
- The lyrics of the chosen song must be predominantly in Japanese and must be memorized.
- Your performance has to be a maximum of 6 minutes long.
- The participant has to bring his or her own USB key with the song in a readable format by a laptop. The song has to be a karaoke version (official if possible) and must not have been
edited otherwise. If possible, make it the only song on the USB key. The song should be clearly identified. (The staff of Nadeshicon Idol won’t be held responsible for any theft, damage or loss of USB keys.) - Only the on-stage performance will be evaluated. Any costume will not grant bonus points, though they are allowed.
- Any professional singer who wishes to take part in the contest has to have been granted permission by his or her manager.
- If the participant is under 14 years old, they must complete the parental consent form in order to participate.
Audition Process
- Auditions will be held on the Sunday morning of Nadeshicon, between 10 A.M. and 12 P.M.
- Once auditions are over, we won’t be accepting any more applications.
- An audition form will be filled during the auditions.
- Participants will have to bring their USB key, well identified, with their song on it.
- Each participant will have to perform a verse and a chorus of their song in order to be evaluated.
- A certain number of participants will be selected to participate in the finale, number which will be determined depending on the number of applications.
- Results will be announced at the information desk of Nadeshicon half an hour after the end of the auditions.
- The selected participants must be present during the sound check before the show. The hour of the preparation will be entered on the results sheet of the hearings.
The Finale
Participants will perform on stage. The order in which participants will perform will be randomized. Here are the evaluation criteria:
- Vocal talent
- Memorization of the lyrics
- On-stage behaviour
- Difficulty of the song/originality
- Judges’ personal choice
