Feedback on the festival

The numbers are in! We were about 2300 people in the halls of Pavillon Alphonse-Desjardins between April 1st and 3rd! Thank you all for coming to our event!

With that said, wether you attended our festival or not, we would like to receive your comments so that we can make our convention even better in the future. To that end, we created an online survey to collect your feedback. However, bear in mind that it is in French.
Thank you for your time!

Nadeshicon 2016 is now over

And so ends Nadeshicon 2016. The closing ceremony is starting as we speak in Salle Hydro-Québec, after which we will be heading to panel A to hear your comments about our event, as well as your suggestions.
We would like to thank all of you who attended this year’s edition of our convention, and hope you had as much fun as we did throughout the weekend! See you hopefully on March 31st, April 1st and 2nd 2017!

Only 20 minutes left before the last day of Nadeshicon 2016!

This morning starts off calmly with the tea ceremony in panel A, then quickly picks up in speed with our guest of honour’s, Aimee Blackschleger’s, third and last show are this edition of our event. It will then be followed by an amazing shamisen performance given by Ryoko Itabashi, and an autograph session with our guest of honour, in Salle Hydro-Québec and the atrium, respectively. Enjoy!

Dusk of the second day

The second day of the convention is now officially over! Quite the busy day, with a wide array of activities; we hope you enjoyed yourself to the max!
The last day of the event is upon us and, with it, the last show of our guest of honour, Aimee Blackschleger, for this edition of our festival. Of course, plenty of other amazing activities will be held, so be sure to be on the lookout. See you tomorrow!

Survey

You may have noticed that we’ve been handing out a survey at the inscription booth so that we get to know you and your expectations toward our event better. If you didn’t come to this year’s Nadeshicon, or if you just didn’t get the chance to fill it on site, you may find it online(French).
We are very grateful to everyone filling it; it will prove most helpful to make Nadeshicon even better for the coming years!

Learn Japanese in Québec City!

L’École de Langues de l’Université Laval, who hosted an introductory panel to Japanese during the latest edition of our convention, offers classes throughout the year in Pavillon Charles-De-Koninck for those who would like to learn to use this beautiful language! Learn from energetic teachers and discover how wonderful the Japanese language is!

You may refer to this flyer (French) to learn more about the Japanese classes offered by École de Langues de l’Université Laval.

Post-mortem, new executive council, and Nadeshicon 2016!

We will be holding a public post-mortem meeting to look back on Nadeshicon 2015 on saturday, May 16th, starting at 1pm in room 2249 of Pavillon Alphonse-Desjardins of Université Laval. The goal of the meeting will be to take your comments and suggestions concerning the latest edition of our festival so that we can make sure next year’s will be even better, so be sure to come!

The post-mortem meeting will also be time for the team of Nadeshicon 2015 to officially step down and let the new executive council for Nadeshicon 2016 take the reins! We would like you to welcome them:

-Maude Cuerrier, president
-Jonathan Gauvin-Richard, vice-president
-Mathieu Deshaies, treasurer
-Benjamin Lampron, commmunications
-Michaël Betty, secretary

We are confident that they will be able to meet your expectations and that they will give birth to the greatest edition of Nadeshicon yet!

Last but not least, we have recently created the Facebook event for Nadeshicon 2016, which will be held from April 1st to April 3rd, in Pavillon Alphonse-Desjardins of Université Laval! Don’t be afraid to join it and share your cosplay progress!

Thank you so much for all of your support!
