You must complete a minimum of 4 hours of volunteer work for half of your entrance fee to be reimbursed, and another 4 hours, for a total of 8 hours, for the remainder. For every 6 hours completed, you will receive a free meal voucher from Nadeshicon. All volunteers will have a free Nadeshicon t-shirt after 6 hours completed.
Students in MYP (International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme) who sign up as part of the volunteer work required by the programme will be offered the option to receive a free, temporary badge during their work hours. Volunteers who pick this option will be required to hand back their badge outside of their work hours, and as such will be unable to participate in the event. They will still benefit from the same benefits as regular volunteers concerning their t-shirt and meal vouchers, but won't have their badge reimbursed due to it being free and temporary. However, upon completion of 8 hours of volunteer work, they will be offered to keep their badge permanently at no cost if they so desire, allowing them to take part in the festival.
